Water Conserving Plumbing Fixtures
Beginning January 2017 if your home was built on or before January 1, 1994 it will have to be equipped with water conserving plumbing fixtures California Civil Code 1101.4. This new law does not create a point of sale requirement but it will trigger a disclosure to the buyer when you sell. Meaning, if like me you pulled that little plastic washer out of your shower head because you like to shower under more then a light spritz, you will now need to disclose that to the buyer. Oh yeah, and it is now illegal to not have water conserving plumbing fixtures. I wonder if they sell those little washers at the hardware store?
